Meghan Trainor scores another Top 40 hit after a long time with Made You Look | show

33 (–) MILLION DOLLAR BABY Ava Max

The twelfth Top 40 hit is a bit of Ava Max but also a bit of Leann Rimes. In Million Dollar Baby because you can Can’t Fight The Moonlight recognise; the track that appeared in 2000 and was number 1 for four weeks. Leann Rimes even helped out in a TikTok video of her doing a dance from the movie Coyote Ugly did.

Ava Max’s second studio album should be released in January: Diamonds And Dance Floors. On that album will be her previous hit, Maybe You’re The Problemget a spot and also the successor – Weapons – which we may soon be able to expect in the Top 40.

Million Dollar Baby is new at number 33.

29 (–) MADE YOU LOOK- Meghan Trainor

In 2014, Meghan Trainor made her debut in the Top 40 with the top 3 hit All About That Bass. Then a handful of hits followed no, in 2016, was her last. After the release of the album Treat Myselfmore than two years ago, she had a son with her husband, Daryl Sabara.

With her fifth album Takin’ It Back she returns to the sound she grew up with. On the track Made You Look she sings about her insecurities, her body after childbirth and a therapy exercise where she had to look at her naked body for five minutes.

Made You Look is the sixth Top 40 hit for Meghan and at number 29 the highest new.

10 (11) HOLD ME CLOSER- Elton John & Britney Spears

Elton John’s list of hits is starting to get impressive. Hold Me Closer is his 32nd Top 40 hit and this week the 75-year-old Briton managed to reach the top 10 again. His previous top 10 hit was listed at the beginning of the year: Merry Christmas. His collaboration with Britney Spears climbs to number 10 this week, making it Sir Elton’s 14th top 10 hit in our country.

For Britney Spears, a top 10 hit is a bit longer ago. The now 40-year-old American had to follow Scream & Shout namely waiting almost ten years for her 13th top 10 hit.

1 ( 1) I’M GOOD (BLUE)- David Guetta & Bebe Rexha

The complete top 6 remains unchanged this week. That means that How Do I Say Goodbye by Dean Lewis is number 3 for the third time and that Secretly van Maan and Goldband is also number 2 this week.

2022 could be the year with the fewest number 1 hits – I’m Good (Blue) by David Guetta and Bebe Rexha is only the 7th hit to lead the Top 40. This week it will also be the 29th Top 40 hit to hit the double digits because the track is now number 1 for the tenth week.
