The British court has strict Christmas traditions, to which Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan and their children no longer belong.
Harry and Meghan haven’t spent Christmas in Harry’s home country of Britain for years. According to Expressen, Charles and Camilla are not going to invite Harry and Meghan this year either.
Thus, Harry and Meghan will once again spend their Christmas in California. A long-time royal expert Jennie Bond tells Mirror-news site with his assessment of what Christmas is like for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
– In my opinion, Meghan seems like the true spirit of the home and I am sure that everything in Montenico is not only extremely stylish but also child-friendly. Meghan and Harry focus so much on their children and family life, expert Jennie Bond describes.
According to Bond, Meghan and Harry’s children are in the “most magical phase” of Christmas for their age. Archie-son is five years old and Lilibets-daughter three.
– I think there’s still a lot of childishness in Harry, because he’s playful and mischievous, I’m sure he’ll throw himself into the Christmas party with Archie and Lilibet, Bond continues.
– Since Harry and Meghan are estranged from their family members, Christmas must consist more of friends. Doria [Meghanin äiti] however, is a fairly constant person in their lives and Meghan recently spoke about how she loves being close to her mother, the expert adds.

Royal expert Bond believes that Harry and Meghan’s Christmas will include friends, music, games and good food.
King Charles and Queen Camilla will host the Sandringham Castle Christmas party as is traditional. Like last year, a large crowd of guests is expected at the court’s Christmas party. A traditional Christmas meal is served from a table standing on the side of the ballroom. Among other things, Queen Camilla’s children and grandchildren have been invited.
According to Expressen, Harry’s big wish would be to spend Christmas in Britain with his family. However, according to the magazine, Harry and Meghan have declined the invitation citing security concerns.
– They don’t want to put their children at risk by bringing them into a potentially dangerous situation, sources told Expressen.
Harry has been in a legal battle with the Home Office for years over security measures. Harry insists he and his family are entitled to police protection when visiting Britain.
