Wing striker Jamie Gitten is apparently faced with Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea. The 20-year-old Englishman allegedly could become the fourthest tax departure of the BVB history.
The breakthrough in the negotiations between the black and yellow and the blues was achieved at the beginning of the week, reports “Bild”. Accordingly, the 65 million euros required by BVB for Jamie Gitten – if all bonus payments are activated.
In its club history, Borussia only received more money for Ousmane Dembélé (for 135 million euros to FC Barcelona), Jude Bellingham (for 113 million euros to Real Madrid) and Jadon Sancho (for 85 million euros to Manchester United).
The transfer package for Gittens is intended to include some deposits with which the BVB can very likely plan. The 65 million euro limit is cracked when the requirements for other, difficult to reach bonuses are met. These payments could be linked to title gains of FC Chelsea, for example in the Champions League, and/or personal awards from Gitten ‘like the election as world footballer.
