The positions of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations on minor issues are drawing closer, but on the main issues they are actually “marking time”, the head of the Russian delegation, presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky told reporters.

According to him, the negotiations have been going on all week and will continue tomorrow, March 26. They go by video link between expert groups. Two or three times a week, the heads of delegations communicate with each other, the last time such a conversation took place the day before, on March 24, Medinsky said.

“Now on minor issues, positions are converging, but on major political issues, we are actually marking time,” he said.
