Sttasera arrives in prime time (at 9.20pm) on Rai 2 the new series Let Todd help usa legal drama which has a protagonist mother and a son very different from each other. Thanks to their opposing methods of investigation, however, they will be able to solve many cases together and above all to recover a personal relationship exhausted.
Todd is a private investigator who uses unorthodox methods, to the point of losing his license. Mother Margaret instead he is a brilliant and inflexible lawyer. The two not very similar individuals begin to work together after the disappearance of the second husband of Margaret. From that moment on, a mutual trust and esteem, e their relationship begins to change.

The lawyer Margaret Wright (Marcia Gay Harden) and the son Todd (Skylar Astin,) are incompatible. Todd is hired by Margaret, who, however, assigns him minor cases and a closet as an office. The son doesn’t like it, and following his instinct, he gets in the way of a delicate matter involving the mayor: The mayor is involved in a sex scandal. It is up to Margaret to defend him. Todd breaks into Lexy’s house, the woman who accuses the mayor, to find clues, and instead finds her dead. The skein thickens.

In the third episode of the series (three episodes are broadcast on Rai 2 every evening), Todd has to take on Brian’s casean old school friend who risks ending up in prison for a minor crime. Todd convinces his mother to help him and make him serve a small sentence. Soon after Brian is arrested for robbery. The only one who believes in his innocence is his friend, who will do anything to exonerate him.
Academy Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden
Playing the series’ barrister of integrity, and Todd’s mother, is Marcia Gay Hardenawarded with the Oscar in 2001 as Supporting Actress for Pollockfilm directed by Ed Harris, where she plays the artist’s wife Lee Krasner. Marcia Gay Harden receives a second nomination in 2004 for Mystic River Of Clint Eastwood. But the actress is also a recognized face on TV thanks to Law & Order it’s at The rules of the perfect crime.
