Max Verstappen takes full advantage of drama at McLaren in the sprint race and does a great job in the World Cup position

Max Verstappen has lost eight points during a disastrous sprint race for McLaren. For both World Championship leader Oscar Piastri and teammate Lando Norris, the sprint race was over after one corner. Despite some threat from Mercedes driver George Russell, Verstappen recorded his thirteenth sprint race victory.
