In the second Omloop, the Brit George Russell set the best time in his Mercedes for his fellow countryman Lando Norris van McLaren. The Italian Kimi Antonelli, also from Mercedes, was then the fastest. World Cup leader Oscar Piastri found his name in the sixth position.
Charles Leclerc no longer starts after crash
Charles Leclerc did not participate in the second free practice. During the first training, the Monegask lost control of his Ferrari and, after a brake error, bumped into the crash barrier that the front and rear wheel suspension on the left broke.
