Max Verstappen clocked the fastest time in the first and only free practice at the Qatar Grand Prix. Wind, sand and the setting sun made it a ‘tricky’ session on a track where even the slightest bit of grip was hard to find for a long time. In the end, Verstappen remained quite well ahead of the Ferraris.
