For Max Giesinger it seems natural to use his reach for a good cause. As a musician, he has often called for donations and in return has given his fans unforgettable musical moments. Shortly before Christmas, the songwriter is once again committed to helping children and young people in need: together with the SOS Children’s Villages, he is collecting donations with a Christmas concert to help the weakest in our society.

Provide support when needed

Max Giesinger knows how it feels when the world around him begins to falter. When he was five years old, his parents separated. From then on he lived with his mother, but he was able to visit his father regularly. Many children and young people experience something similar or lose their parents completely. The usual support that a loving home offers can be lost from one moment to the next – due to wars, accidents or illness. The fact that organizations like SOS Children’s Villages show their willingness to help and proactively offer support in difficult circumstances has already changed thousands of lives for the better.

You too can help now with your donation!

What SOS Children’s Villages are doing to help

“The SOS Children’s Villages are active in 137 countries for children in need. With around 3,000 programs and projects, we reach around 1.5 million people worldwide: children, young people and adults,” the organization explains on your website. This includes educational opportunities, sensible use of financial support and psychological counseling in crisis situations. This creates the conditions for young people to develop into self-confident and committed personalities who help shape their society and future. For every euro donated, the organization makes an average of five euros for social projects.

Donating to SOS Children’s Villages therefore means that children, young people and families all over the world receive the support they urgently need to be able to lead a self-determined life. Many projects focus on enabling people to help themselves.
