Documentary, fictional, animated, Ukrainian cinema never ceases to declare its presence to the world. It also does it with this colorful fairy tale, intended for the little ones, inspired by the poem The song of the forest (1912) by the poet Lesja Ukraïnka.

Beyond the mountains hides a kingdom populated by fantastic creatures which for centuries have hidden from men a source of eternal life. But Mavka, designated protector of the forestone day she meets Lucas, a young human lost in the mountains.

There ecological moral of the fairy tale it does not deviate from that of the great American productions, with some epic moments.
