Matthias Schoenaerts objects to prison sentence and driving ban: “It was not the intention not to show up”

The police judge in Beringen has sentenced actor Matthias Schoenaerts (47) to six months in prison, a one-year driving ban and a fine of 4,000 euros for driving without a valid driver’s license. Because this is already his second conviction in three years – he has already appeared before the police court eleven times – this was aggravating. According to ‘Het Nieuwsblad’, Schoenaerts is now opposing the ruling.
