Sammer floods FC Bayern with praise

After the 2-1 win at defending champions Paris, the Munich team was showered with praise. The record champions delivered a very strong performance.
With a convincing performance against defending champions Paris Saint-Germain, FC Bayern made a strong statement in the Champions League – and thus earned a lot of praise from prominent observers. After Munich’s 2-1 win in the French capital, experts were overwhelmed with praise for the German record champions’ performance.
The former European champion Sammer was downright “moved because it is a German team – with German virtues, even if that sounds like 1888. There are 1,000 elements why they do it well, but broken down: Everyone at Bayern is involved! A wonderful example for our young talent. That is the benchmark for many constellations in our football. The others should follow that.”
World champion Hummels praised: “Everyone was toxic, everyone was always there mentally. They broke Paris, until the red card it was a class difference!” Even after the goal, “you never had the feeling that they weren’t in control.”
