Fortuna striker Mats Seuntjens will also play in Sittard next year. His expiring contract has been extended by one year by the Eredivisie club. Goalkeeper Tom Hendriks and defender Mike van Beijnen also remain under contract for one year longer.
The three players were in possession of an expiring contract with the option for an extra season in Sittard’s service. These options have been explored.
Fixed value
The 30-year-old Seuntjens and 23-year-old Van Beijnen came over two years ago from the Turkish club Gençlerbirligi. Seuntjens is a fixed value for the club, he played 61 matches and scored 15 goals. Mike van Beijnen currently plays at FC Den Bosch on a rental basis. Hendriks has not yet made his debut.
Richie Musaba
Fortuna has decided not to exercise the option in Richie Musaba’s contract. The number fifteen of the Eredivisie will continue to talk with the midfielder about a longer employment contract.
