The Matti ja Teppo duo’s homepage returned after three months.
There are signs of hope for the return of the legendary Matti ja Teppo duo. The band homepage are back in use.
The homepage welcomes you to the renewed Matti ja Teppo website. At the same time, it is announced that the site will be updated further, and they will open in full by the end of next year. So far, there are no indications on the Gigs tab page that Duo has any upcoming gigs.
At the beginning of September, Matti and Teppo, i.e. the brothers Matti Ruohonen74, and Teppo Ruohonen, 75, announced that they were canceling gigs due to illness. Later, the duo canceled more gigs, and at the same time the homepage stopped working.
Iltalehti could not reach either of the Ruohonen brothers to comment on the cancellation of the concerts.
The brothers have toured Finnish stages since 1969, i.e. for seven decades. The 80s were the brothers’ golden age, but their popularity has lasted their entire career. The duo’s hits include, among others I work every day, Cat gold and Behind everything is a woman.
