The volleyball players from SSC Palmberg Schwerin are in danger of missing the playoff semi-finals of the Bundesliga.
The defending champion lost the second game of the best-of-three series with the Ladies in Black Aachen 1:3 (21:25, 22:25, 25:13, 18:25) and has to go into a decisive third duel. This will take place on Saturday (6 p.m./Dyn) in Schwerin.
The main round dominators Allianz MTV Stuttgart and cup winners VfB Suhl Lotto Thuringia quickly reached the semi-finals. Stuttgart, which won 19 of the 20 games in the main round, confidently won the second duel with Schwarz-Weiß Erfurt in Thuringia 3-0 (25:22, 25:20, 25:17) after a narrow 3-2 win at the start.
The runner-up in the main round from Suhl easily progressed 3-0 (25:14, 25:21, 25:13) against VC Wiesbaden. Dresdner SC is also in the semi-finals after a thrilling 3:2 (25:20, 22:25, 22:25, 25:23, 18:16) against USC Münster.
In this, Stuttgart meets Dresden in the best-of-three series, Suhl faces Schwerin or Aachen.
