Investigations carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office for the crimes of “manufacturing and trading drugs”, “providing special places, equipment or materials to facilitate the use of drugs or stimulants and taking measures to make it difficult to catch those who use them”, “purchasing, accepting or possessing drugs or stimulants for use”, “using drugs or stimulants”, “encouraging and intermediating prostitution” are continuing.
In this context, a detention order was issued for business people Burak Elmas, Hakan Sabancı, Kerim Sabancı, actress Hande Erçel, model Didem Soydan and presenter Güzide Duran.
Istanbul Police Department Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch teams detained businessman Fikret Orman as part of the investigation.
It was learned that efforts to capture the other people for whom detention orders were issued are continuing.
