British actor Ray Stevenson has died at the age of 58.
Actor Ray Stevenson, 58, has died, reports say The Hollywood Reporter. The British star died four days before her birthday. So far, no additional information about the death has been made public.
Italian magazine La Repubblica reported that the actor was on the island of Ischia filming a new movie. According to the newspaper, the actor fell seriously ill on Saturday and was taken to the hospital.
The death was confirmed by the actor’s spokesperson, Nicki Fioravante.
During his career, Stevenson managed to act in many films. The viewers remembered him especially from Marvel Thor– in which he played the red-bearded Volstagg in 2011.

Finns may remember the man too Jalmari Helanderin from directing Big Game – from an action movie. The Finn who acted in the film Good luck Tommi recalled in an interview with Iltalehti how there was a small accident with Stevenson on the set.
– Ray was supposed to hit me, not really, but then he did. It looks good because the punch was right, Tommila said.
The British star explained to Iltalehte what had really happened in the scene.
– It didn’t feel good. In the movie it’s just a slap, it’s not a proper punch, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Onni didn’t tell about all the times I didn’t hit her. But this kind of thing happens. I don’t hit children anymore, Stevenson commented to Iltalehte.
