Marsèll in Milan: shoe brand opens flagship

Marsèll opens the doors of its first flagship in Milan.

The Italian footwear and accessories brand is increasing its presence in the Italian city, Marsèll announced last week. The store opened during Milan Men’s Fashion Week.

With a flagship on Via della Spiga, located in the city’s luxury shopping district the brand producing near Venice to the fashion center of Italy. The opening was underlined with artistic interludes.

Among the artists who designed the retail space for the event was the Berlin architecture firm Gonzalez Haase with three design objects. The design duo also plans to work together with the brand for Milan Design Week 2024. The Italian-Australian artist Rebecca Salvadori created immersive impressions with an audiovisual installation.

The interior of the store, which extends over two floors, is characterized by clear shapes and minimalism. The brand’s women’s and men’s collections are presented on over 400 square meters. Light-colored materials are combined with reduced wood, metal and stone elements and a few contrasting pieces of furniture, with travertine limestone characterizing the women’s area and walnut wood in the men’s area. A spacious shop window gives those interested a look.
