Market values Luxembourg: Bohnert top winner after transfer – Philippe new at the top

Legionnaire pride second best scorer

Transfermarkt has updated the market values in the Luxembourg BGL Ligue and has also made a change in the French Ligue 2. Florian Bohnert from SC Bastia rises from 150,000 to 400,000 euros, making him the biggest winner of the update.

Since January 1, the right-back, who played for Mainz 05’s second team until 2021, is no longer under contract with FC Progrès Niederkorn in Luxembourg. Due to the previously made update in Ligue 2, Bohnert’s market value was subsequently adjusted.

With his new value, Bohnert would have clearly led the list of the most valuable professionals in the BGL Ligue. Instead, Rayan Philippe (22) is a new face at the top. The left winger of FC Swift Hesperange, who are attacking F91 Dudelange’s supremacy this season and are just one point behind the leaders, doubles its value from 150,000 to 300,000 euros. The Frenchman has had 36 goals in 16 games this season and is by far the best scorer in the league.

Teammate Dominik Stolz, one of 26 German legionnaires, came in second. Despite eleven goals and eleven assists, the former Sandhausen professional remains unchanged in terms of market value at 225,000 euros due to his age of 32.

This is how the Transfermarkt market values work

The Transfermarkt market values are created taking into account various pricing models and a strong involvement of the Transfermarkt community, which deals with the values in detailed discussions. The transfer market market values are not to be equated with the transfer fees actually paid.

The goal is not to predict a price, but an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational framework conditions are relevant to a certain extent. Examples of this are listed here. Transfermarkt does not use an algorithm (for detailed market value definition).
