In the Kazakh Premier League market value update, a 17-year-old is the top winner. Dastan Satpaev from the newly crowned champions Kairat Almaty is the only player in the league to increase by a seven-figure amount and, after an increase of 1.2 million euros, is now placed at 3 million euros. In doing so, the center forward also consolidated his status as the most valuable player in the Premier League.
With his new market value, Satpaev is now the most highly valued Kazakh footballer. The reasons for the upgrade include the teenager’s crucial contribution to Kairat’s championship title with 14 goals and seven assists, his first appearances in the Champions League and his move to Chelsea (for 2.4 million euros) next summer. Satpaev achieved all of this before his 18th birthday.
Another big winner is Nazmi Gripshi (28) from runner-up FC Astana. The attacking midfielder became top scorer with 16 goals and made his debut for the Albanian national team in October. For him it goes from 850,000 euros to 1.5 million euros. The champions’ playmaker, Valeriy Gromyko (28, +300,000 euros), is now also valued at 1.5 million euros, which is a new personal best for the Belarus national player. The third-largest plus in the league goes to his midfield colleague Ofri Arad (27); the German-Israeli climbs by 400,000 euros and is worth 1.2 million euros. Kairats Jorginho (27), who came from Luxembourg a year ago for 100,000 euros and became a top performer with 18 scorers, also made an interesting development. This is now followed by an increase from 300,000 euros to 800,000 euros.
Update Premier League: Chesnokov in focus away from the top teams
Aside from the two top teams, Islam Chesnokov (25) from Tobol Kostanay is one of the big winners. The winger increased by 300,000 euros to 1.2 million euros after playing a key role in his team’s third place in the league and cup victory. Chesnokov is said to be on the roster with teams in Russia, Scotland and Belgium.
In terms of squad values, Kairat Almaty is still at the top and is even expanding its lead. All of the champions’ players are worth 16.1 million euros (+3.3 million), followed by Astana with 11.7 million (+1.1 million) and Tobol Kostanay with 9.9 million (+0.7 million).
