The most valuable player of the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság is now called Alex Tóth. The 19-year-old midfielder from Ferencvárosi TC doubles his market value from 2.5 million to 5 million euros in the interim update. This means that the right-footed player, who has been part of the Hungarian senior national team since March, is also the league’s biggest winner.

In return, Mohammed Abu Fani loses his place in the sun as the biggest loser. For the 27-year-old, who was replaced by Tóth in the center of Ferencváros’s midfield, the price drops by €1 million to €3.5 million. He is now in second place ahead of his teammates Kristoffer Zachariassen (-0.5 to €3 million) and central defender Ibrahim Cissé (unchanged at €3 million).

In any case, the series champion, who is competing in the Europa League this season, has by far the most professionals with a high market value. Eleven of the twelve highest-rated players are under contract with coach Robbie Keane’s club. The only four exceptions in the top 20 are Iuri Medeiros (-0.5 to €2.2 million) from Újpest FC, Zsolt Nagy (€1.5 million) from Puskás Akadémia FC, Szabolcs Schön (€1.2 million) from ETO FC and Aljosa Matko (+0.2 to €1.2 million) from Újpest.
