High plus for Feyenoord duo

In the course of the market value updates in March, Transfer market also adapted 139 footballers from the Dutch eredivisia-85 of them recorded an increase. A duo from Feyenoord Rotterdam is one of the big winners, while the PSV Eindhoven crisis is also reflected in the market values. Ajax Amsterdam and AZ Alkmaar in turn benefit from the good start to the new year.
For the Feyenoord professionals Igor Paixão (24) and Givairo Read (18) it goes up significantly-both increase by 8 million euros. According to Dávid Hancko and Quinten Timber (both 32 million), Paixão is the most third -value Rotterdamer with 25 million euros. Right -back Read can triple its market value and is now at 12 million euros. “Paixão and Read have been the absolute key players at Feyenoord in the past few weeks – both in the Dutch league and in the Champions League. Both have already been associated with some foreign teams. Paixão with Napoli and Read with Barcelona and Liverpool has a big step, so he says a big step,” says Jesper Siereveld, Data Administrator Netherlands at the transfer market. Despite a minus of EUR 3 million, Hancko is the most valuable player in the Eredivisie.
Twente’s striker Sem Steijn also records the next upgrade and climbs 6 million to EUR 16 million. Two years ago, the market value of the offensive midfielder, which leads the Heredivisie goal scorer list with 22 goals in 25 missions, was 925,000 euros. “Sem Steijn plays an incredible season. He is on the best way to become the top scorer of the Eredivisie. He would be the first midfielder to have succeeded since Jari Litmanen in 1994,” explains Siereveld.
Six professionals get an upgrade from the leaders Ajax Amsterdam, the greatest go to Kenneth Taylor and Youri Baas. The 22-year-old Taylor convinces with eight goals and five templates in the league this season and was also accurate in the Europa League, which is why its market value climbs from 16 million to EUR 22 million. Also at 6 million euros upwards for 22 -year -old BAS, who has become a regular player this season and is rated at EUR 12 million. Ajax has been undefeated in Eredivisie since the beginning of December and has only conceded four goals in eleven games since then.
Eredivisie: PSV crisis is reflected in the market values
Ajax took over the lead from PSV Eindhoven, because the master won only three wins in nine games in 2025 and now has six points behind (to the article). For a total of eight PSV professionals, it goes down, while Noa Lang (25 million) and Mauro Júnior (12 million) record a plus of 5 million euros. This affects Johan Bakayoko, among others, who is devalued for the second time in a row by 5 million euros and is still the most valuable footballer in the Eredivisia at EUR 35 million. “The PSV has suffered a big break -in after the winter and that shows up in the sunken values. Bakayoko was very mediocre all the season and is no longer a regular,” Siereveld explains the devaluation.
Only one professional had to accept a bigger minus than Bakayoko – his team -mate Jerdy Schoute, which falls from 32 million euros. “Schoute had an injury and is no longer the player he was last season,” said Siereveld. Even his midfield partner Joey Veerman cannot keep his market value of EUR 32 million and has to accept a minus from 4 million to EUR 28 million. “It is a repeating story for Veerman. In the league he is one of the best passers, but on the big stage his weaknesses thwart him.” Olivier Boscagli (23 million) and Sergiño Dest (18 million) are also down for 4 million euros.
The PSV crisis means that the reigning master is the big loser with a minus of EUR 20 million. In terms of squad value, the second in the table with 327.3 million euros is still the leader. In contrast to PSV, championship competitor Ajax increases and increases by 14.5 million to 203 million euros. Only the AZ Alkmaar, which occupies sixth place in the table, has a larger plus – from 78.3 million it goes to EUR 97.6 million.
