Mid-season update

At halftime in Algeria’s championship round, the Ligue Professionnelle 1 market values have been updated. It is clear that veteran striker Andy Delort (33), who has recently moved to MC Algiers, will continue to lose out. Only an eighth of the former Montpellier striker’s career high – 16 million euros in the 2020/21 season – remains.
Delort recently spent a few months in Qatar with Umm Salal SC and has been without a club since spring 2024. His arrival in Algiers brought the Algerian league into the spotlight and Delort got off to a decent start with three goals in his first eight games. Also due to his advancing age, the 15-time national player and 2019 African champion still loses and falls to a market value of just 2 million euros. For him this is the lowest value since 2015, for the Algerian league it is still the top market value. However, Delort now has to share the top spot in the ranking.
Paradou AC winger Adil Boulbina (21) draws level with Delort. “On his left track he is virtually unstoppable,” explains Ronan Caroff, Area Manager France at Transfermarkt. “He scored eight goals in the last seven PAC games. There have been eleven since the start of the season. This great series goes hand in hand with the team’s invincibility in the last two months of the football year.” Boulbina’s market value increased by 1.1 million euros to the top value of 2 million euros shared with Delort.
This is how transfer market market values work

The goal is not to predict a price, but rather an expected value. When determining the market value, both individual transfer modalities and situational conditions are relevant to a certain extent.
