She will be involved in the implementation of the RMG vision and strategy in the Netherlands, which focuses on digitalization, innovation, sustainable growth and partnerships.
Denekamp has worked at Hearst Netherland for the past 6 years and has gained a lot of experience with digitalization there. In her last positions she was Chief Digital Officer and Chief Audiences & Growth. She led the business units involved in digital, data, development and marketing.
Denekamp about her new challenge: “Roularta Media Nederland has a broad portfolio of top brands with strong communities and – at the same time – is aware of the challenges of shaping recent acquisitions (New Skool Media, WPG), the digital transition and cultural merger. I look forward to translating and further expanding Roularta Media Group’s vision together with the teams in the Netherlands and Belgium.”
Xavier Bouckaert, CEO of Roularta Media Group: “An ambitious strategy in a challenging media sector can only be realized with the right talents and competencies. That is why I am very pleased to welcome Marjolein to our management team to accelerate RMN’s growth strategy and digitalization.
