Mario Vandenbogaerde takes silver at Belgian…

Darts has been very popular lately. The Belgian championship is already planned a week after the Darts World Cup. Mario Vandenbogaerde from Geluwe made his debut at the largest darts tournament at the last World Cup. Vandenbogaerde did not survive the first round in Ally Pally.

At the Belgian championship in Ghent he was one of the favorites and he fully lived up to that role. Only Kim Huybrechts could keep Vandenbogaerde from winning the gold. The Belgian championship is already a mega success after day one. There were no fewer than 666 registrations for the men’s singles tournament and more than 900 registrations in total.

In the G-darters, Kurt Vandekerckhove from Ruddervoorde and Vincent D-Hondt from Passendale took the gold.
