Berlin (dpa-AfX)-Marine inspector Jan Christian Kaack sees Germany against the background of clumsy incidents in a stress test of fortificance. “The truth is that we have long been challenged. The only question is whether the an emergency becomes of the test and whether we are then prepared,” said the Vice Admiral at the parliamentary evening of the Navy in Berlin in front of MPs and officers. He also referred to the airspace injuries with Russian military drones in Poland.
With a view to reporting in Russian television channels, Kaack said journalists there, like field commanders who swear in their troops on a war. He warned: “And while we still debate who is responsible for what is responsible in the Baltic Sea, Russia has long since started to test how far it can go: Subotent lines, navigation signals disturbed, ships, drone overfirts, sabotage, spy and penetration attempts in our support points.”/CN/DP/NAS
