The 26-year-old Verders has only come for Ostend since January, which then took over the Dutch Guard from the German Göttingen. Verders only played half a season for Göttingen. He previously defended the colors of his youth club Leiden for eight seasons, making him Dutch champion three times and won the first two editions of the BNXT League in 2022 and 2023.
In the Belgian-Dutch league he was elected Dutch player of the year in 2024. At Ostend he was the replacement of Devontae Shuler, who returned to the United States.
