Mardin 1969 Sports President Rıdvan Aşar and Deputy President Polat Kasap attended the signing ceremony held at Mardin 21 Kasım City Stadium. A 1-year official contract was signed between the parties. Speaking at the signing ceremony, president Rıdvan Aşar stated that they were pleased to work with Ahmet Cingöz again. Stating that they will form a strong, young and dynamic team in the new season, Aşar said that the current squad consists of quality players and that some reinforcements will be made to the team. Emphasizing that the fans should not worry, Aşar said, “Our team works day and night. We are in constant consultation with our teacher Ahmet and his team. We completed our negotiations and made the agreement official. From now on, we will speed up the preparations for the season. May it be beneficial to the people of Mardin and the sports community.”

Coach Ahmet Cingöz thanked all the club employees, players and technical team who contributed to the championship achieved last season. Stating that the management’s trust in him is a great source of motivation for them, Cingöz noted that they always felt the support of the fans. Stating that they will have a tougher fight in the 1st League, Cingöz said that he will use his experience as a coach, assistant coach and sports director, which he has gained in different leagues over the years, for the success of the team. Referring to the transfer efforts, Cingöz said, “We will establish a squad consisting of players who embrace the city they are in, sweat their jersey to the fullest and fight. We achieved this last season, and we will act with the same understanding this season. We will now have foreign players as well. Our fans may be excited about the transfer, but we will move forward by taking the right steps. We want to add players who see Mardin as their home to our squad.”
