When migration is being discussed in the Netherlands, it is really only about immigration, the people who come here, and in particular the 10% of the immigrants who report as an asylum seeker. But there is also emigrated. Last year the number of emigrants raised until 205,000, an absolute record. There is in what the CBS calls ‘administrative correction’, but if you correct for that correction, the emigration will end up with around 180,000 people.
