Marc O’Polo opens new franchise stores

Clothing retailer Marc O’Polo is opening new stores with partner companies. The franchise business is also to be strengthened with relocations and conversions.

New franchises are currently being opened in Landsberg am Lech and in the Westfield Shopping City Süd shopping center in Vienna. In total, Marc O’Polo operates 109 stores in German-speaking countries with franchise partners.

“We are very pleased that we can realize these projects with our existing and new franchise partners, despite all the challenges that the industry is currently facing and despite the ongoing cautious consumer mood,” said Managing Director Maximilian Böck in a statement on Wednesday. “The close and successful cooperation with you is a nice confirmation and a great sign of trust in our brand and the cooperation with our company.”

Marc O’Polo strengthens franchise business

According to Marc O’Polo SE, the franchise business is an important component of the omnichannel strategy, alongside its own stores and the online shop. The clothing manufacturer from Stephanskirchen relies on franchise stores in prime locations, especially in high-traffic medium-sized centers with up to 100,000 residents. The franchise stores in Ravensburg and Reutlingen recently moved to prime city locations.

The franchises will gradually be converted to the “Scandinavian Studio” store concept introduced in 2021. The clear lines and timeless colors of the interior are intended to underline the premium claim of the Marc O’Polo brand. The franchise store in Fulda opened a few days ago after a renovation with the new store design. A total of nine franchises have already been converted in addition to the company’s own stores and concession areas.
