Many reports about storm damage in the Northern Netherlands, KNMI issues code yellow

The telephone at the control room in the north of the Netherlands is red hot because of storm damage caused by the strong wind, says a spokesperson for Safety Region Fryslân. Due to the weather conditions, the KNMI has announced code yellow for the provinces of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe.
