The Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet is a popular meeting place in the region for pleasure and shopping enthusiasts. The center is now expanding its culinary offerings to include two gastronomic highlights, bringing big city flair to Zweibrücken. On Saturday January 18th, Mangal Döner by national footballer Lukas Podolski and Sushi Tomo, the Japanese restaurant concept from Munich, will open their doors in the center. Both businesses move into the iconic round building that formerly housed the La Place restaurant. Visitors can look forward to classic kebab dishes, Turkish specialties and trendy sushi creations.
“Our center stands for a combination of shopping, fashion and lifestyle. The expansion of the gastronomic offering underlines the aim of offering our visitors a comprehensive and diverse experience. With Mangal Döner and Sushi Tomo, we create new moments of enjoyment that ideally round off a shopping trip,” explains the center director of the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet, Uli Nölkensmeier.
Mangal x Lukas Podolski
Lukas Podolski opened his first kebab restaurant in his hometown of Cologne in 2018. “No different, just better” has been the motto of Mangal x Lukas Podolski ever since. Freshness, quality and taste make the difference here. With home-baked bread, aromatic meat and sophisticated sauces, traditional kebab becomes a unique pleasure. The success speaks for the concept: Podolski’s Mangal Döner is now represented 45 times in 25 cities – and from January 18th also in the Zweibrücken Fashion Outlet.
Sushi Tomo
The Japanese word “Tomo” stands for friend and as such, guests of the sushi restaurant of the same name will be welcomed into the center in the future. The sushi masters lovingly handcraft creations that stand out from conventional sushi offerings. Sushi Tomo impresses with innovative sauces that transform sushi rolls and bowls into modern delicacies with a surprising twist. The compositions are not only a taste highlight, but are also visually impressive thanks to their artistic presentation.
Mangal x Lukas Podolski and Sushi Tomo will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. starting January 18th.
