Brobbey and ten Hag worked together successfully at Ajax
United’s Ten Hag and Brobbey know each other from times together at Ajax. The striker managed 13 goals and three assists in 32 games under the coach and sponsor and has found his way back to his old form in the past few months. “I said I’d rather stay at Ajax,” Brobbey told Algemeen Dagblad in early June about a conversation with his regular club. “They understood that. They said they are open to that, but that I need to speak to Ajax first and I can’t go back for nothing.”
