Bruno Fernandes made history on the final day of the 2025/26 Premier League season. In Manchester United’s 3-0 away win against Brighton & Hove Albion, the Portuguese playmaker provided his 21st assist of the current season, equaling Thierry Henry’s all-time record in the English top flight.

The 31-year-old crowned a strong individual season with the Red Devils. The captain was voted player of the season for both Man United and the Premier League. In 35 league games, the attacking midfielder scored nine goals in addition to his many assists. This made him the second best scorer behind Erling Haaland.
