Athens leaves after a year

Anthony Martial (29) leaves AEK Athens again after a year and dares to adventure outside of Europe. The former French international signed a two -year contract including an option for extension at the CF Monterrey on the Deadline Day in Mexico. The attacker enlarges the ex-Sevilla faction at the league leader of the Liga MX.
With midfielder Óliver Torres (30) as well as the strikers of Jesús Corona (32) and Lucas Ocampos (31), Martial was already on the pitch during his loan in the second half of 2021/22. Martial even hits OCAMPOS for the third time, from 2013 to 2015 they both wore the AS Monaco jersey. In addition, Real icon Sergio Ramos (39) also played before moving to Monterrey at FC Sevilla, offensive routine Sergio Canales (34) at the city rival Real Betis.
Martial had left Manchester United last summer after nine years and 317 games (90 goals). The 30-time national player’s contract had not been extended. After a good two and a half months of clublessness, Martial Aek followed Athens, for which he contributed nine goals and two templates in 24 missions. He is reportedly rinsed by a transfer fee of EUR 3.85 million.
