On behalf of the German trainer, his management Futuralis Football Group has responded through owner Roderik van Kerkhof. Van Kerkhof writes that he is surprised by Heracles’ decision and that he deeply regrets it.

He gave everything every day to get the most out of the squad without questioning the quality of the group to the outside world in any way. Furthermore, he has always represented Heracles correctly in the press. Even if it was not his job and it was a very heavy subject. We therefore deeply regret Heracles’ decision to suspend him. Especially since we never received any signal that could lead to this decision. However, it is the choice of the club and Frank respects that.”
Van Kerkhof indicates that it is Wormuth’s wish to keep in the background so as not to get in the way of Heracles’ trainers and players. ,,He does not want to comment on the club’s decision during the post-season, so that the players and staff can ensure the preservation of the Eredivisie in peace.
