The Sinterklaas evening of a couple from Rijen ended in a drama last year. After Pakjesavond with their children, the couple got a big fight when it turned out that the woman had another. And that after a relationship of sixteen years.
The emotions were high, but that was nothing compared to two weeks later when the details of the extra -marital relationship became known. The man saw on photos and videos on his wife’s phone that she had been cheating for eight months with a good well -known. And then the bomb really burst.
The man (40) was considerably emotional in the court in Breda on Friday. It touched him deeply that he had to find out in such a bizarre way that his wife cheated on it. She didn’t let go much on Sinterklaas evening, but when the man saw the nude photos and videos on December 19, the truth penetrated him hard. The man on the videos and photos was a man who came to the family several times a week and who they also know from the campsite.
Quarrel
And now the Rijenaar is in court for domestic violence on this Friday. His upcoming ex made a declaration and the list of accusations did not lie: beating, kicking, grabbing hard and dragging over the ground. The woman stated to the police that she later felt the threshold of the front door in her back after she had worked outside. She should also have been holding on to the doorpost to get some more clothes.
The man had a completely different story. He swore that he had not beaten his wife or dragged over the ground. On Sinterklaas evening there had only been a half night of a fight, but more had happened on December 19. Then he opened his wife’s phone late at night and found the sex videos and nude photos.
According to him, when he confronted his wife and scolded her out, a push and pull. Both slid down the stairs. At the front door he would have grabbed her to the upper arms and put it outside. In the meantime, the young children had woken up, they witnessed all the noise in the house.
Three young children
The two have been divorced since the deception has been released. But whatever happened, the man and the woman are committed to giving their three young children the best possible upbringing, it turned out. The peace has been returned and the parents stay in the house in Rijen. Every day there is contact between the two about the children and the household.
And the police judge could appreciate that. He weighed the evidence of what is in the file and came to the conclusion that there was nothing to prove on December 5. What happened on December 19 is a different story, but there too the police judge saw no evidence of physical violence such as hitting and kicking. The injury that the woman had after that evening can also have been created well by the struggle on the stairs and grabbing at the front door.
And he didn’t think that was enough evidence for domestic violence. That is why the police judge could do nothing but acquits the man.
