A man was assaulted this weekend in Berghem with a nitrous oxide bottle. A stranger hit his head with it. The incident happened last Saturday in Hoessenboslaan, on the edge of the village.
The victim was attacked just before 11 p.m. The perpetrator hit the man in the face with a nitrous oxide bottle, the Maasland police base team reports.
The cause of the violence is unknown. The victim suffered head injuries. Police say they are looking for the culprit.
