The 22-year-old man who sprayed a liquid through a fence at the asylum seekers center in Ter Apel last Monday will be detained for seven days longer.
The examining magistrate decided that today. On September 14, it will be determined whether the man will continue for longer.
At the asylum seekers’ center in Ter Apel, five people received complaints on Monday after someone had sprayed around with an unknown liquid. The five victims ultimately did not have to go to hospital. It concerned two employees of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers, two security guards and a resident of the asylum seekers’ center.
