Man shoots woman’s lover

He was arrested for attempted murder and will appear in court tomorrow, the prosecutor’s office confirms.

Appointment gets out of hand

The facts took place near the Sterrebos. According to Het Laatste Nieuws, the man had made an appointment with his wife’s lover. He was aware of their affair. But the deal got out of hand.

The husband grabbed a firearm and fired at his rival. Shortly after the incident, the police were able to apprehend the shooter. It is not yet clear whether it was a real weapon.

“The man has been arrested for attempted murder and will appear in court tomorrow,” the prosecutor said.
