On the Tuinstraat in Coevorden, a person was seriously mistreated by a group last night, according to the police. Police say the victim was beaten to such an extent that he sustained serious injuries from the assault.
The victim is believed to have been beaten up by a group of seven to ten people. According to the police, it is still unknown to the victim what led to the assault.
The assault took place on Saturday between 02.30 and 03.15 on the Tuinstraat in Coevorden, near Ons Café.
