A man was found dead in his home on Reinoutlaan in Geldrop on Friday evening. Emergency services went to the house after a report that the man had not been seen for a while. There appeared to be a fire raging in the house.
The police received a report around six o’clock that the man had not been seen for a while. A fire was also reportedly seen at his house. The fire brigade broke open a door and then saw the resident lying in a room that was on fire.
The man was resuscitated outside, but help was of no avail. It is not yet clear what exactly the man died from. The police and Forensic Investigation are investigating. The area is closed.
