On Boxing Day, a man from Bergen op Zoom was arrested on suspicion of a series of robberies in his hometown. He committed his last robbery on Thursday evening at Domino’s in Antwerpsestraat. This restaurant was also robbed three weeks earlier. The police suspect the same perpetrator.

Because the description of the robber was the same as during the first robbery of the restaurant, the suspect was quickly identified. It was a man of 1.75 meters, with a tanned skin color and a black coat with a fur collar.

More robberies
The robber threatened the staff on Thursday evening and grabbed the cash register. The police were able to arrest the robber at home.

The man was also arrested after the first robbery. He was then also suspected of other robberies in Bergen op Zoom. He is said to have robbed a night shop and a liquor store next to Domino’s. The police had to release him due to lack of evidence.
