A father and a child were injured this afternoon after their barbecue exploded in the Het Twiske recreation area in Oostzaan. They had to be rushed to hospital.
It is not known how the barbecue could explode.
After the explosion, an air ambulance was called in to help the two victims. The father and child were taken to hospital with unknown injuries. Nothing is known about their condition yet.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the blast.
