Two men aged 19 and 22 were arrested on Tuesday morning in their hometown of Roosendaal because they were allegedly involved in a home robbery in Rucphen. That robbery took place on December 5, 2022 at a house on Achterhoeksestraat. The 62-year-old resident was assaulted. After the robbery, the perpetrators fled with money and other valuables.
The police immediately started an extensive investigation in the area. She looked for camera images, among other things.
The investigation led to the two suspects, who were arrested early on Tuesday. Their direct involvement is now being examined. The investigation is still ongoing and police may expect further arrests.
