Man (44) from Knokke-Heist arrested after Aalst resident…

In the car next to the victim was another woman who had seen the incident happen. She immediately pointed in the direction of a 44-year-old resident of Knock. He was known to the other two occupants and had fled after the incident. The man could be traced via citizen net and social media, a few kilometers away in Zuidzande. He was arrested and must appear before the examining magistrate on Monday. In the meantime, the investigation into the facts continues and witnesses to the incident are being interviewed.
