The stabbing on Tuesday evening in Valkenswaard in which a man was injured, seems to have originated after a fight on the street. The victim is a 39-year-old man from that place. He was taken care of in a house on the Franciscus valley and was later taken to the hospital with an ambulance.
The police received a report of a fight on the street on Tuesday evening around half past nine. When agents arrived at the Franciscus valley, it became clear that it was also stabbed.
Two suspects fixed
The police immediately started an investigation. Around midnight two suspects were arrested in a house on the Binneveld in Valkenswaard. It concerns two 20-year-old men. They are stuck and are questioned about their involvement. It is not yet clear what the reason for the fight was.
Research in the neighborhood
After the stabbing, the police dropped parts of the neighborhood, including on the Victordal and Damianusdreef. A Burgernet report was also sent. Later in the evening a raid followed in the house where the two suspects were arrested.
How the victim is doing now is still unclear.
