A 32-year-old man from Meppel is accused of having attacked a snack bar, beauty salon and a shop in Meppel in January. This happened within two weeks.
This turned out on Thursday during the first introductory session in Assen. The judge decided that the suspect will remain stuck for the time being. The case will be dealt with in terms of August. The Meppeler did not appear on the short session.
The man was arrested after the last robbery, on the snack bar on January 20. The man only confessed the last robbery.
The thefts with violence caused a lot of unrest among the entrepreneurs and shoppers in Meppel. Cameras were hung after the second robbery.
