A drugged rioter (29) demolished more than 20 cars on Sunday on Teltower Damm. It would probably have been even more if witnesses hadn’t stopped him…

It was around five o’clock in the morning when local resident Tomislav (33) heard the rattling in front of the house: “I went out and saw a young man damaging cars one after the other and then trying to run away.”

According to the police, he is said to have thrown bottles and stones at passing cars.

The rioters left a trail of devastation on Teltower Damm: He hit parked vehicles indiscriminately with a heavy object and kicked off the exterior mirrors. He scratched swastikas into the paint on at least twelve cars.

The perpetrator also scratched the forbidden symbol on Tomislav’s uncle’s station wagon. “We called the police, my uncle and I followed the man.” When the police arrived, the rioters hid in the bushes. He was arrested.

The police at Teltower Damm counted a total of 22 damaged cars. The 29-year-old was taken to hospital because of his poor condition. He freely admitted to using drugs.
