A 27-year-old man from Eindhoven was arrested because he is suspected of being involved in the death of a Helmond baby in February this year. The man was already arrested on February 18, but the Public Prosecution Service is only now announcing this after questions from Omroep Brabant.

On February 2, the only four -month -old baby in Helmond died. How exactly that happened is not yet known. The circumstances under which the baby died were in any case a reason for the OM to hold and secure the Eindhoven citizen.

“A Pro Formaziting is planned on 2 June,” says a spokesperson for the OM. Then it will become clear what the man is suspected of and whether he will be stuck for longer.

For the sake of research, the OM does not respond to the relationship between the 27-year-old suspect and the baby.
